You might just see your question on the air!

Today's quiz was submitted by Calaveras High School student, Cally Gustafson. She asked how fast raindrops fall? The answer is 5-20 m.p.h. It depends on the weight and size of the drops. Bigger drops fall faster. Thanks Cally!

August begins with cooler, mild weather

August begins with cooler, mild weather

The first day of August kicks off to a pleasant start with mild temperatures in the mid 70s warming to the upper 80s by Monday evening, according to News10 meteorologist Mellisa Paul. Some areas will see even sunnier skies during the day with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s in the valley.

Temperatures will remain slightly below normal for this time of year, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s throughout the rest of the work week. Enjoy the cooler weather now because Paul says next week is looking to heat up to normal hot summer weather for the second week of August.
