Celebrate Spring in Elk Grove at the Spring 'EGG' stravaganza

The Cosumnes Community Services District is inviting residents to celebrate spring with your friends and family at the annual Spring 'EGG' stravaganza on Saturday, March 26 in Elk Grove Regional Park.

The free activities include appearances from the Easter Bunny and lots of springtime interactive FUN! Activities with a fee include face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, inflatable attractions, carnival games and the “egg scramble.” Tickets will be sold at the event for $.50 each. Live with what you love: Holiday Decorations

The New Year is almost here!  Tonight we will be ringing in 2016, and begin to start thinking about packing away our holiday decorations (if you have not done so already).  

Now is a great time to really look at all the decorations that you have, from tree ornaments to center pieces, and decide if you really really love it and want to continue to live with it.  We all tend to accumulate more than what we truly need, so take a close look.  Make room for sentimental items that invoke wonderful memories.  Every year, we hang my husband's grandmother's hand painted ornaments on our tree.  They don't match, are pink and blue, don't sparkle anymore, but our tree would not be complete without a few of these precious ornaments that are well over 100 years old.
