Elk Grove’s First Saturday “Evening on the Boulevard”

Old Town Elk Grove will be the place to be the first Saturday of every month beginning in June and running through October.  Not only are we back, but we will be offering more things to do in a much safer, “family friendly environment”.  The city will be closing the street to vehicle traffic from 2nd Ave  to School Street.  This will allow for a more casual walking atmosphere and more room to bring in new venues.  Many of the merchants will be open late and some are running special offers and sales.  Look for live music, entertainment, food (such as the Gourmet Food Trucks) art displays, face painting, crafters, community service booths, and much more.  If you are feeling the financial pinch, like most of us, you will be happy to learn, most of the activities are FREE.

Shanahans Towing to the Rescue when "Haunted Car" Mystery Strikes Again!

Elk Grove to Gold River -- Most women dread being stranded when our car suddenly refuses to start. That's why having insurance coverage for emergency road service is very important to minimize the hassle of being stranded and alone. Fortunately, my insurance company called Shanahans Auto Body & Paint that has 24-hour towing and Louie Alemar was at my side within minutes! He towed my car to Add Performance in Gold River where the mechanical wizard, Dave McDonald, drove away my car's "demon" within minutes! Dave exorcised a corroded battery cable, and I was on my way. Even though both Dave McDonald and Louie Alemar were just doing their respective jobs, they both excelled with their knowledge and A+ customer service! When you need car repairs, contact Dave McDonald at www.AddPerformance.com because Dave says, "It'sy All About the Horsepower!"
